My Mission

I believe your body was designed to help you live a full life—not simply survive each day.

My mission is to help women understand their bodies, restore their metabolic health, and reclaim the energy, confidence, and vitality to fully participate in the lives they want to live.

Because health isn't about chasing perfection or following another restrictive diet. It's about creating a body that allows you to say yes to the adventures, relationships, career, and experiences that matter most.

Hi, I'm Stephanie.

I'm a certified nutrition specialist (CNS), board-certified health coach, and founder of Wildflower Nutrition LLC.

I help women improve their metabolic health through evidence-based nutrition, behavior change, and a functional medicine approach—so they can stop feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, and stuck, and start feeling like themselves again.

But my journey into nutrition didn't begin in a classroom.

It began in the Colorado mountains.

Falling in Love with the Mountains

After graduating college, I packed everything I owned into my car and drove west in search of adventure.

Colorado quickly became home.

I fell in love with long mountain days spent skiing fresh powder, hiking alpine trails, backpacking into remote wilderness, mountain biking, camping under the stars, and exploring places that make you feel wonderfully small.

Eventually, I moved to Summit County, where the mountains became my backyard. I worked in healthcare on a demanding 7-on/7-off schedule, often logging 70-hour work weeks before spending every day off chasing another adventure.

I loved that life.

I believed being healthy meant pushing harder, doing more, and squeezing every ounce out of every day.

Until my body stopped keeping up.

When My Body Changed

I had already been diagnosed with Celiac disease at 17 and ADHD shortly after, spending much of my teens and twenties on hormonal birth control and ADHD medication.

As I approached my thirties, I decided to come off both medications to better understand my body and prepare for starting a family someday.

Then COVID hit.

It was the sickest I'd ever been.

Instead of bouncing back, I felt like I had lost the version of myself I loved.

The woman who happily spent sunrise to sunset in the mountains suddenly struggled to make it through the day.

For two years I experienced relentless fatigue, persistent bloating, weight gain, and irregular cycles.

I wasn't just frustrated by the symptoms.

I grieved losing the life I loved.

The Turning Point

With a background in laboratory medicine, I ordered hormone testing myself and brought the results to my physician.

She never looked at them.

Instead, she pushed the paperwork back across the desk and suggested I simply go back on birth control.

I left feeling dismissed, unseen, and incredibly frustrated.

I knew there had to be another explanation.

That moment sparked a journey that completely changed both my health and my career.

Learning to Work With My Body

I immersed myself in nutrition science and functional medicine until I found a practitioner who truly listened.

Comprehensive testing uncovered significant gut dysbiosis and hormones that reflected years of chronic stress, under-fueling, and burnout.

Healing wasn't about finding a miracle supplement.

It was about understanding how sleep, stress, nutrition, blood sugar, gut health, and movement all work together to support metabolic health.

Little by little, I rebuilt my energy.

I started sleeping deeply again.

My body began working with me instead of against me.

Most importantly, I found my way back to the mountains.

Today you'll still find me skiing Colorado powder, backpacking to alpine lakes, mountain biking through aspens, camping with my husband and our Goldendoodle Beau, or simply soaking in the quiet that first drew me here over a decade ago.

Those experiences remind me why I care so deeply about health.

Not because it's about looking a certain way.

Because when you feel well, life gets bigger.

Why I Do This Work

I know what it feels like to be told your labs are "normal" while your body tells a different story.

I know what it feels like to be dismissed.

And I know how life-changing it is when someone finally listens.

Today, I help women reconnect with their bodies through science-backed nutrition, compassionate coaching, and sustainable habits that support lifelong metabolic health.

My goal is to help you wake up energized, nourish yourself with confidence, trust your body again, and have the freedom to fully enjoy the life waiting outside your front door—whether that's chasing toddlers, building a career, traveling, climbing mountains, or simply feeling like yourself again.

Because the healthiest version of you isn't the one who sacrifices everything for wellness.

It's the one whose health makes the rest of life possible.
